Ms Gabriella Scionti is mentioned as being one of the leading lawyers in the “Competition/European Law (Italy)” area, with her clients describing her as “quick, assured and business-minded” (Chambers 2014). She is highly experienced in Italian and European competition law matters, regularly representing Italian and foreign undertakings before the Italian Competition Authority and the European Commission. Her specialist knowledge of competition law and commercial practices offers clients a valuable tool, including when drafting and implementing antitrust compliance programmes. Ms Scionti’s varied professional experience has enabled her to develop extensive knowledge of many sectors, including the production and distribution of automotive and jet fuels, chemicals, maritime transport and agency services, aerospace, luxury goods distribution, the production and distribution of beverages, and organised large-scale retail.

Ms Gabriella Scionti began working at the Milan office of Allen &Overy LLP law firm in 1999, later moving to their Rome office within the International Antitrust Group. She was seconded for six months in 2005 to Sibeg S.r.l., one of the Italian independent Coca-Cola bottlers, where she provided legal counsel in matters of competition law, commercial law and civil contract law. She left Allen &Overy in 2009 to launch her own law firm in Rome and has since been advising clients on Italian and European competition law.
